A fully immersive multimedia exhibition dedicated to the founding father of the Vienna Secession.

To inspire, captivate, move, and amaze audiences of young people and adults alike by inviting them to deepen their knowledge of the master, their understanding of his works and their context, his painting technique, and his stylistic approach through close-up views of details from the works.

In a single “experience room,” visitors can enjoy a 360-degree immersive experience that seamlessly envelops the entire space; from the walls to the ceiling and down to the floor, the images of the works will merge into a single, dreamlike flow of fluid, ethereal forms, evoking motifs from Klimt’s art—from his early works to his final paintings.

A symbolic, enigmatic, and sensual world brought to life with exceptional visual impact thanks to the Matrix X-Dimension system, designed exclusively for this video installation, which utilizes 30 laser projectors capable of projecting over 40 million pixels onto the installation’s giant screens, delivering higher resolution than Full HD.

Alongside Klimt’s art, visitors will also be able to admire vintage photographs depicting the artist’s life and 3D reconstructions of early 20th-century Vienna, featuring its iconic landmarks, customs, and the fashion of a European capital in the midst of a cultural upheaval, including its innovative architecture such as the Vienna Secession Building, with its magnificent Beethoven frieze.
