For the first time, in Milan at Palazzo Reale, the world and the works of Georges de La Tour, a world of extraordinary images, resolute gestures, an inner contemplation that captivates and excites and whose oblivion was due to the extraordinary uniqueness of the his work.

 

The first exhibition in Italy dedicated to Georges de La Tour who, through targeted comparisons between the masterpieces of the French master and those of other greats of his time (Gerrit van Honthorst, Paulus Bor, Trophime Bigot, Frans Hals and others), wants to bring a new reflection on genre painting and on "luministic experiments", to address the profound questions that still surround the work of this mysterious artist.
